Why are there pictures of the Annex?

Our Town Annex (the old Municipal Light Dept.) is another failing structure that is in need of replacement. Rather than spend additiional millions of dollars to rebuild or replace this structure, instead the Town will use the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in the new public safety building for meeting space.

We dump a large amount of taxpayer money into both the current FD/PD headquarters and into the Annex to keep them in working order. This taxpayer money will be saved, resulting in a lower town budget that can translate to a lower tax burden, and get a modern building for Town meetings.
